Tom Spine

In this talk, Tom Spine will give an introduction to the world of bird photography. After a short discussion of the ethics of birding, Tom will cover aspects of necessary equipment, approaches to exposure and other camera settings, shooting techniques, and elements of composition. Tom will also show how you can create compelling bird photographs in your own backyard, and provide an overview of local birding hotspots — and some not so local hotspots too. Tom will illustrate many of the topics with his own photographs.

His photographs have won awards in both the Parker River National Wildlife and the NH Audubon annual photo contests.
