Realizing a Photography Agenda
Monday, February 24
7:30pm
Newton Senior Center

Paula Tognarelli
Paula Tognarelli, Executive Director and Curator for the Griffin Museum of Photography returns to the Newton Camera Club to do her “Photo Stand Up” on what is involved in realizing a photography agenda. The experience will involve her personal way of “telling it like it is,” in a conversational style that often uses honesty, empathy, humor and practical examples (both real and imagined).
She will first spend some time on workaday matters and address all audience queries. Eventually, in sharing her suggestions for the etiquette and industry practices of marketing photography work for exposure, she will get to the underbelly of the “do not dos.”
If you have ever thought about marketing your work for exhibitions and other photographic opportunities, from local and national galleries to museums and other photo-world players, you may benefit from this conversation covering various genres and skill sets.
The Griffin Museum is a nationally-known local treasure in nearby Winchester, and Paula will give us a taste of what they do there.
