How to Photograph Wildlife

From bugs to bears, a comprehensive guide on how to photograph all wildlife.

Wildlife photography can be quite a challenge, especially capturing the diverse array of life we share on planet Earth. Animals can behave dramatically different from one another, making our techniques change based on our photographic subjects.

In this talk, Maceo will underline the pros and cons to different wildlife photography techniques (macro, telephoto, wide angle), and then dive into the behaviors of many of the groups of animals we, as photographers, want to capture.

After this, Maceo will explain how to read animal body language in order to avoid stressing out these subjects in the field.

He will finish off by sharing a few special experiences he’s had with all kinds of wildlife, emphasizing his approach to capture the best photos given the scenario.
