Generally, our category guidelines are pretty open, but for Nature, we use the Photographic Society of America (PSA) Nature rules, which state that the nature story is the primary driver of image quality, and the hand of man cannot be present unless it is a critical part of the nature story. Also, please review the PSA rules concerning the amount of editing that is permitted.

Judge: David Marshak
David Marshak is an avid amateur street, concert, and fine arts photographer. He began in the 1970s shooting, developing and printing in the dark room. He is passionate about the history of photography, with photographers such as Edward Steichen, Dorthea Lange, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Gordon Parks, and Andreas Feininger providing the greatest influence and inspiration. His current influencers include Essdras Suarez and Wendell Phillips.
Marshak’s images have been recognized in juried competitions such as the Greater Lynn Invitational, the Ocean State International, and the Cape Cod Art Association Street Photography exhibit.
