Our Reflections competition celebrates images that use reflective surfaces as a creative and expressive tool, transforming ordinary scenes into something intriguing, abstract, or emotionally resonant. Reflections may reveal unexpected patterns, distort reality, create calm or tension, or invite viewers to linger and interpret what they see. The reflected subject may be clearly recognizable, partially suggested, or entirely absent—what matters is the photographer’s intention and how the reflection contributes to the image’s impact. Whether found in water, glass, metal, or other surfaces, strong reflection images go beyond novelty to demonstrate thoughtful composition, visual clarity, and artistic vision.
