Print Show Updates
Our print show team has been hard at work planning the exhibits for this season. If you have any questions about printing, framing, or other exhibit-related questions, we now have a new Print Show Team email address.
One change we're making for this season is loosening the framing requirements. Over time, photographic presentation has changed. With access to new materials and with changes in aesthetics, we believe it is time to enable photographers to express their creativity while setting reasonable limits as required to manage print shows. As a practical matter, this means that we have loosened some requirements around colors, matting, and glazing while clarifying requirements for security and safety of hanging. Please review the new Framing Guidelines carefully before submitting to any of this season's print shows.
Speaking of which, here's our exhibit schedule for the rest of the season:
Exhibit Dates: January 4 - March 31, 2027
Submission Deadline: November 23, 2027
Can submit up to 5 images (including diptychs and triptychs)
Notification of Acceptance by December 15
Newton Free Library
Exhibit Dates: April 1-30, 2027
Submission Deadline: February 10, 2027
Can submit one image
Notification of Acceptance by March 1, 2027
Cooper Center Summer Show
Exhibit Dates: June 1 - August 30, 2027
Submission Deadline: April 10, 2027
Can submit one image
Notification of Acceptance by May 1, 2027
Opus Solo Shows
Related to the topic of print shows, we are hoping to find someone to volunteer to help out with social media. This would be for the club as a whole, but with a particularly emphasis on finding an audience for our print shows.
